• Account information: email address, display name, and language preferences
• Learning data: lesson progress, flashcard reviews, conversation history, and test results
• Usage data: session duration, features used, and learning streaks

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize your learning experience
• To track your progress and adapt lesson difficulty
• To improve our AI tutor with anonymized conversation data
• To send account-related notifications (if enabled)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted in EU). We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with encrypted sessions.

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase: database and authentication
• OpenAI / Anthropic: AI-powered language tutoring (conversation content is sent to generate responses)
• Browser Speech Synthesis: text-to-speech for pronunciation (processed locally, no data sent)

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data (available in Settings)
• Export your learning data

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser cookies for authentication sessions and localStorage for caching preferences (notification settings, flashcard progress). No third-party tracking cookies are used.
